Synopsis
Crybaby is a chronicle through poetry of the author's unconventional childhood, awkward adolescence, and chaotic journey into womanhood.
She analyzes her omnipresent "daddy issues," dissects the odd appeal of her high school boyfriend, and revisits her feelings during a love affair with a man whom she adored.
Crybaby is for anyone whose childhood wounds have followed them like a sad reminder; whose desire for fairy-tale love has at times outweighed their better judgement.
It is for those who wear their heart on their sleeve despite what has been done with it.
